Mr. Francis, co-founder of ELANSA DESIGN STUDIO, has been a steadfast pillar of strength and pragmatism, all while remaining an artist at heart. Known for his calm presence and natural ability to connect with people, he guided every project with assurance and empathy. His sharp acumen in budgeting and project execution laid the groundwork for ELANSA’s steady and sustainable growth. Jaisy Francis founded ELANSA DESIGN STUDIO in 1996, building its foundation with unwavering dedication, boundless creativity, and relentless hard work. A true expert in landscaping and horticulture, she had an exceptional eye for color harmony and design proportion, bringing life and character to every space she touched. At a time when resources were scarce and opportunities limited, she poured her heart into creating a studio rooted in innovation, quality, and trust. Her visionary leadership and deep commitment transformed ELANSA from a modest dream into a respected name in the design world—one that continues to inspire belief in the power of passion, perseverance, and timeless aesthetics.
Karan J Fraanc graduated from DG College of Architecture, Kozhikode, Kerala in 2019. He interned at Mancini, Chennai and Good Earth, Kozhikode, gaining exposure to diverse architectural practices. After graduation, he worked with Studio Blanc as an associate architect before joining Elansa Design Studio in 2021. Over the years, he has engaged with projects of varying scales—ranging from private residences and housing developments to institutional buildings.
Milen Jai Fraanc is currently pursuing her fourth year at CEPT University, Ahmedabad. She has spent her summer breaks working at Elansa Design Studio, gaining hands-on experience in architectural practice. She has attended workshops in Bhuj with Hunnarshala, exploring earthen building materials and construction techniques, and is particularly interested in the climatic, spatial, and structural possibilities of architecture. As part of a Summer-Winter School led by Priti Rao and Shubhra Raje in Uttarakhand, she developed a working prototype of a table. Milen is currently engaged in smaller-scale projects and is pursuing her internship at Playgroup, Goa.
